Region 6 Forecast : Lower Lakes | November 2015 – December 2016

SUMMARY: Winter will be colder than normal, with below-normal precipitation and generally below- normal snowfall. The coldest periods will be in early to mid-December, late December, and early to mid- and mid- to late January and February. The snowiest periods will be in late November, December, mid-January, and early and late February.

April and May will be drier than normal, with temperatures below normal in the east and above normal in the west.

Summer will be hotter and slightly drier than normal, with the hottest periods in mid- and late June and mid- and late August.

September and October will be drier and much warmer than normal.
